Sunday posting! Get ready - this is L O N G!

Wow - home - long week but so much fun. We (me and the kids) went to Kim's (my oldest daughter and owner of 5 grandkids!) for the week. We had a ball. The kids (oldest ones) went to see New Moon (Brandy for the 3rd time) and I kept let me count - 6 kiddos. We ate, played cards, listened to the kids sign karoke and overall just had a ball. Got LOTS of cards made - finished up my Christmas cards and still had time for some sketches. But posting had to wait until I got home - the interest is so off and on up there it's not worth trying! First of all is the Card Patterns sketch this week - and some Jillibean papers. WOW can't say enough good stuff about Jillibean papers - they are just FUN!.

This week at Unscripted sketch I used another Jillibean paper line to make this little card. Fun sketch guys!

For the Get Sketchy this week yet another line of the Jillibean papers together with some Jenni Bowlin letter stickers.

Then I know I'm late but did two cards with the 2 sketches 4 you with some Webster's and more American Crafts Christmas lines.

And then a few Christmas cards I did - the first using some old SEI and some Core'dinations - look how using just a punch with an embossing can change when you use core'dinations, sand it a little.

Well one Birthday card with the American Crafts and a little stamp I got from Michael's.

Thanks for stopping by - off to do the CPS sketch

Sunday sketches

Ok well I was going to do Christmas cards - started one of these and then just decided to do another one so today for CPS I have two cards. Used some core'dinations papers to help on them - first on the snow and the second one used it for the little house to give it some character. First card was with American Crafts and the second with WeR Memories.

Next sketch is from Unscripted sketches. For this one I used some old Basic Grey and a stamp I hadn't used in like forever!

Happy happy Saturday!

Wow! HATE that the day's half over - LOVE my Saturday's. Brandy dragged me to New Moon yesterday -not that I don't want to see it but planning on going with Kim next week when we are up there for Thanksgiving. It was awesome - much better than the first one. BUT Brandy in all her excitement (now get this she saw the midnight show the night before at the IMAX) was going to grab my hand or leg and knocked her drink ALL OVER ME! SO I sat we throughout the entire 2+ hours of the show and until I got home. Ok on for some sketches - still have a few more I want to do today but here we go. First of all is the Laura's sketch from 2 sketches 4 you
I used some Crate paper for this together with a Jillibean button and twine.

Next is the card I did for the color it challenge over at Cardvarks. This is a cute little stamp I got at Michael's I believe from Stampablilties together with some My Mind's Eye papers and of course the Copic Markers - don'e know how I ever lived without them! I also used some Imaginisce birthday stamps on it.

Next off is the sketch from Card Patterns. I mised up some papers from Sandylion and Designer's Papers and then used some new stamps I got at Michaels from Inkadinkado. Fun sketch for sure!

Next for today is the sketch from Get Sketchy. For this I pulled out some Cornish Hen stamps and some more Crate Papers - I really love this line - glad I got doubles!

Last of all wanted to share a card I made with Core'dinations papers, a Jillibean tag and ribbon and some Queen and Company felt fusion. I used my Score-Pal for the embossing on the card base and then used a Cuttlebug folder to make the little Christmas gift tag.
Thanks for stopping by! I appreciate all your kind words.

Sunday

Ok first off today I did the CPS sketch - loved the sketch and of course gave me a chance to stamp - got this cute little stamp at Michaels, a Stampabilities stamp together with some BG papers and then used a Martha Stewart heart punch and a rub on by Doodlebug.

Next I did this card for Delightful Sketches this week. Used some core'dinations cardstock and embossing with a sheet of my Christmas papers by Webster's - love this gold! The little stamp is by SUink and I got the ribbon in a sale bin at Michael's.

Then because I loved the gold combo I made another card for Core'dinations, added a Prima flower and a little tag from Recollections.

Thanks for stopping by today!

Saturday Sketches

Here's one I did with some more My Mind's Eye papers for Get Sketchy #14 challenge. The little image is from stamps from Stamping Bella and of course I'm still playing with my Copic Markers. Not much going on here just the normal weekend stuff - washing clothes, cleaning up. Tomorrow Brandy and I are going to the NESA (Northeast School of the Arts) program of song and dance doing West Side Story - ought to be fun.

Also I did the Card Sketch today - stressed out over this to no end - guess it just wasn't my day but finally did the last one here and then whipped out this first one as well. The first one is with Jillibean and the second one is with some My Mind's Eye and The Angel Company stamps I got.

Thanks for stopping by.

Happy Friday!

Today I took a day for me! And so first of all wanted to share a little card I made for the Get Sketchy #13 bonus challenge - wow they already have another one up and I just got this done! Oh well. Kim's sitting in the doctor's office (my oldest) with her oldest, Morgan, who has fever and headache. Kim got diagnosed with H1 N1 a month ago and also last week with strep so she's been sick for a month now. AND while they were looking at Morgan they looked in her ears which were all full - she feels like crap as well. So they are sitting there waiting to hear results. Hopefully then she can go home and go to bed. With five kids and a husband in TDY it really stinks for her - there's no one to fill in the gaps! Hopefully they will heal soon!
The card I did with some new Crate Paper I got.

And then for my first time at 2 sketches 4 you I made this card - decided to work more on using up my stash so this is with some My Mind's Eye papers, my new stamp fromPenny Black and another stamp from Hero Arts (little birdie) together with my awesome Copic Markers! - Update from Kim - Morgan has tested + for H1N1 and so they put her and him on Tamaflu. Poor kid - nothing like being alone to take care of 5 kids while your husband's on TDY and stationed in another state and being sick - I know she would like to curl up in a corner and suck her thumb and can't say I don't blame her.

Sunday - more cards!

Oh it's Sunday ALREADY!!! Oh so not ready to go back to work tomorrow. I really think if someone brought in food I could live here in my scraproom. I definitely have enough supplies! Today I'm doing laundry - well today I'm doing "our" laundry. Yesterday I did all of Brandy's - unread! She said it was only a week or two but I had clothes hanging all over the house - all of her things seem to have to be hung to dry and then tossed in the dryer! She's coming to pick them up today. BUT I have had some time to do a couple of sketches and a couple of pages for Core'dinations - wish I could show them off because I loved them but not yet. Done for a special project. First I have two cards with the CPS sketch this week , a baby card with American Crafts and a new stamp from Stamping Bella and another Christmas card. Used some American Crafts for this as well as some stamps from SUink and of course my Copic Markers - hey they are on 30% off this week at Hobby Lobby!

Next I have a card done for the Unscripted Sketches. For this I used my new stamp from Stamping Bella and some Glitz papers - then a little Doodlebug tag.

The lastly this is a card I just created with my November kit from IAAS. This month there's some Cosmo Cricket and some Bo Bunny and Lynn is always so generous with her embellishments that there are tons of little goodies to play with. I'll have more to share from the kit when I get more done.
