The Sweet Stop

Well I can't seem to get all my cards in the same post today so there's several postings but wanting to make the best of my time on the weekend before I head back to work tomorrow (YUCK! - No I don't hate my job - just hate that I have to work period!) For this challenge I used some American Crafts papers and a stamp I just got in my monthly kit from Unity Stamps.

Thanks for stopping by yet again!

Stamptacular Sunday card & CPS

This card is done for the Stamptacular Sunday blog hop challenge. Card done with one of my favorite Elizabeth Bell stamps and some Crate Paper. My favorite color on here is guess - pink!

Now I'm going to add my CPS card as well. For this cute and simple design I went straight for some of my new Core Amour Onyx Collection from Core'dinations.
Can I just say it's fabulous! You can either leave it as is or you can sand and see the underlying core which I did on this one to show the wavy lines. I added a Maya Road tag and a SRM sentiment and some ribbon and done! This is only one of an entire pack of wonderful pages from Core'dinations Onyx collection. Each one is just beautiful alone or mixed and sanded or left as is.

Bee Crafty Challenge

For the Bee-Crafty challenge I'm going to submit the freebie I got from their blog done with Crate Papers. Thanks for the challenge!

Saturday's work

First off for the Sketch and Stash blog. I used some Cosmo Cricket and a Unity stamp I got in my monthly kit.

The next one I did a combo here using the Get Sketchy sketch together with the digital image from Delightful Inspirations. Fort his one I used some Basic Grey papers together with a SRM sticker and some Card Company flowers.

Last card here I found this sketch blog - Taylored Expressions and this cute sketch. I used a stamp from Penny Black and some Scenic Route (snif snif- love them!) papers. Again another SRM sticker on this one too.

Lastly I wanted to share a page I just did with more of the new Core'dinations cardstock - this one done with Cosmo Cricket giving it an entirely new texture. This is my niece and her husband and the famous Brayden (open-heart X 3 in 3 short years) who I have asked for so many prayers for. Thanks for stopping by once again.

Saturday morning post

Well we are back from the coast - can't say it was much fun. Think of 6 teenagers - Spring Break-on the beach. Spent the week waiting for them to get in and make sure they were ok. The weather didn't really cooperate although it didn't slow the kids down. We had some good food but except for getting a few hours to go walking on the beach the wind was too high and too cool for me. The kids managed to get 2 days of sun in though and came home blistered. Today I have my card for the Unscripted Sketch this week. Some Core'dinations cardstock which I embossed with my Cuttlebug and some Bo Bunny papers combined with a Bild Malarna stamp
Also today from Card Pattens I have this awesome sketch. This week, we are fortunate to be sponsored by Hero Arts. The team were spoiled with Hero Arts' generous heart!

I got these really cute Home stamps. I used some American Crafts papers and Core'dinations cardstock

More later when I get time to play - off to do the grocery shopping now.

Thursday

First off today I finished up the two sketches over at 2 Sketches 4 you. The first one I used some goodies from my Noel Mignon kit together with some Hero Arts stamps and of course some Core'dinations cardstock! The first is Laura's sketch - wish I had those cute little chicks they used for their cards!

For the bonus sketch I pulled out my new Gemstones from Core'dinations cardstock - is that not pretty! Nothing but cardstock on this card - embossed and sanded.

The last card is from a new sketch site I found at The Sweet Stop for a sketch with a twist. I used Sparkly Fluff on my little guy's hat for my fuzzy. The stamp is byBildmalarna. The papers are from Dream Street. The sentiment is from SRM stickers.

CPS and the new Gemstone's Core'dinations & Mojo Monday

I'm trying to get in a few cards before we leave for the coast tomorrow. Hard to believe we left Oklahoma yesterday morning in the ice and about 4-5 inches of snow, with major wrecks on almost every bridge for about 50 miles and I just got out just now and walked in my shorts! No wonder we end up sick! It was miserable yesterday - the wind was horrible and it was just bitter cold. Today, here at home, it's gorgeous. Sunny, warm and WONDERFUL!! Well to show off the new Gemstones line of Core'dinations papers I used it in combo with some Best Creations papers for t he CPS sketch. This sketch just looked ready for a frilly romantic card. I only sanded the Gemstones a little along the edge but am going to get another color out today and emboss and sand it . It's almost too pretty to touch. The beads are from Prima - got them today at the LSS.

Adding on another card still with more of the new Gemstone's but this time with some Crate Paper and the Mojo Monday Sketch
Thanks for stopping by again.

Cards to share

First of all here's my card for Card Patterns this week. Our generous sponsor was SRM stickers and they have sure made a fan out of me. For this I pulled out some Sassafras Lass papers together with some Core'dinations cardstock and a little stamp from Paper Salon.

This next card I just made using an older Unscripted Sketches sketch. I used some Crate Paper for this one.
This week's sketch over at Unscripted Sketches had an added challenge of using a paint chip. For a Core'dination's lover this was right up my alley. Core'dinations papers and a Cuttlebug folder and here's my card. Oh and more of the SRM stickers for this as well.

The last card for Delightful Sketches this week, I just did last night with some new Crate Paper I got from the LSS and a cute little digi image which was perfect for the season.
Thanks for stopping by! Your comments make my day!

Core'dinations - Core Amour!

I headed out for a long week of Spring Break starting tomorrow. But before I went I wanted to share a quick peek at just one of the fabulous new lines of papers that Core'dinations has come out with this year. This is the Sable Collection of Core Amour - is it not FABULOUS!! With it I have used two other new lines - one the Core'dination combined with Jillibean (green) and the Core'dinations with Cosmo Cricket (brown) and then touched it up with some October Afternoon. The adorable little girls are my granddaughter's MaKenna and Madision.

I found this sketch and can't find where I got it from but can see it's from Pamela Maas. I used the image from Faith over at Delightful Inspirations. I used some of my new Crate Paper - isn't it yum! Also used my Spellbinder's embossers. Oh then I added the SRM sticker - I am so totally in love with these stickers. I got several packages through my DT work and I'm scare to go look at the website - afraid it will cost me a fortune!

Last this is just ONE California Jasmine bush that I have growing over my trellis. It has climbed up about 20 feet through one of the big oaks and this year is just blooming it's heart out!
Thanks for stopping by! Go over to Core'dinations and check out all the new products. I just got my packages in this week and it's almost killing me to go out of town and leave them here. I'ld almost rather stay home and scrap (seriously thought about this!).

CPS and Sunday

Ok today for the card sketch over at CPS, I did two cards with the sketch. The first with the White Wash line of Core'dinations papers and some antiquing and the second one with some American Crafts - just because it looked like fun paper card!

Then since I was into the White Wash collection I made this birthday card too. With our family there's never enough cards on hand.

Sunday Cards

What a beautiful weekend. Sunny, warm, think I actually got some freckles and sun when I went walking yesterday! Thank goodness. For my daughter, Brandy, Spring Break started. Lucky her she's going to spend the weekend with Kim (my oldest daughter-sister from another mister as Brandy calls her) and kids, then is leaving with friends Wednesday morning for a few days in Florida! I'm jealous! Next Saturday starts my son's Spring Break. We are going to meet family in Oklahoma for a couple of days and then we are headed down to Corpus for the rest of the week for some SUN and beachtime. I plan to put up my little portable canopy, pull out a couple of chairs and plant myself right there on the beach with a good book and alot of sunscreen.

First of all today I wanted to share with you my card for Card Patterns. For this card I pulled out some Core'dinations Cardstock together with some Basic Grey papers. I just needed bright and happy for this cute little image.

The sponsor:

Our sponsor this week is Little Paper Shop.
"We launched our company in April 2008 with 7 sets and 6 individual stamps, most of which are of masculine themes. Since then we have expanded our clear stamp line to include over 70 sets including our most popular {Little Cuties} line! We now stock a variety of digital images as well. Our stamps are manufactured in the US using only high quality photopolymer. Each set is hand inspected to ensure you are receiving only top quality products."

LPS is generously offering a $20 gift certificate to one random participant!

Next I did this card for the Get Sketchy card challenge this week. Once again I used another Little Paper Shop image as it just seemed perfect for the card's inspiration. For this I used Core'dinations cardstock and American Crafts Papers.
I got another layout done but am hoping to get it submitted so will hold out until they accept or decline.
Thanks for stopping by!
