Card Patterns and CPS

Just a couple of card I got done that I wanted to post. Didn't realize that I used the same sentiment on each one until I got ready to post them. First is the card for Card Patterns. I used Core'dinations cardstock and Echo Park papers. The stamp is from Unity Stamp Company.

The next card is for CPS this week - talk about some OLD papers I found these and decided I still loved them. The stamp is from Unity, cardstock from Core'dinations and papers from Imaginisce

Be on the lookout!

Be sure to stop by the Core'dination's Blog to check out what the Design Team has done with the new Graphic 45 collection.

Sunday Sharing

First off is the sketch from over at Lily of the Valley. I used one of their adorable stamps on this one and some Jillibean papers. Sentiment stamp is from Unity Stamp Company.

Next is a page I did with a couple of the pictures I took on Thanksgiving day and used the inspiration from Color Combo's this week for my colors. This is my daughter, Kim, with her daughter, MaKenna. Cardstock is all Core'dinations (jillibean line) and Core Cardstock. Tag is Jillibean and flowers are Prima. Bird is from Webster's Pages.
And here's a couple more pictures from Thanksgiving day. This is my youngest grandson, Kadin, who was visiting us here from Georgia - hated to see them go home!

Saturday posting and a D2D blog hop!

WOW! What a wonderful Thanksgiving! Two of my daughters were here with all the grandkids (7 between them), Jason was here of course and I only missed having Brandy out in California. She spent the holiday with some friend's of my oldest daughter (Kim) but OHHHHHH was she missing being here. Constant texting ALL day long! The weather was perfect - the food awesome (outdid myself if I have to say on the dressing!) and everyone had a blast. Of course with all the kids a basketball team is readily available and the kids played for a long time. We were able to get some awesome pictures - I'll add here but more on facebook.
BUT back to business. First off we are having a blog hop at Designed 2 Delight. With surgery and family coming I didn't get to do a "project" like a lot of the team members but I do have some cards to share. I actually have another one I'll try to add in the morning but was too late to get a picture this evening when I got it done. Here's three of the newest images that Faith is putting out. She's really been on a roll lately with some wonderful image - visit her shop to purchase any you weren't able to get by taking part in her weekly give-aways.

Then over at Unscripted sketches this week here's the latest sketch. I am DONE, FINISHED, yes DONE with Christmas cards and am ready to move on so I have gone in a different direction now. The stamps are from Unity Stamp Company and the papers are Echo Park.
The next card is for the sketch over at The Sweet Stop this week. I used one of my new Mo Digital Pencil images for this one - isn't it sweet. The papers are from Prima - love the soft colors for a change (you know I'm a really loud color person at heart!)
Now to share a few of the pictures I got: The first is all the grandkids at their table - except Jason, my son, who though this might be the safer table! Then a picture with my mother and all the kids ( this took about 20 takes!) Then Kim, me and Kristi, Kim and Kristi and the last one Kim and MaKenna. I have many more but they are so large I'm having a hard time getting them posted together so another day. Thanks for stopping by.

How about some mid-week??

Way overdid today getting ready for everyone to come. Not real sure I'm going to be moving much this evening or in the morning. Kim and her crew (5 kiddos!) are coming tomorrow - yeah!!! Then Thursday my mom and my middle daughter, Kristi and her family (2 more kiddos) so we will have a full house - love it! Not sure this won't be our last year in this house although it breaks my heart to move from it - this was and is our dream house. Just all our kids made their homes so far away that we are contemplating downsizing and moving closer to them. Still have Jason here in college though so will just have to wait and see. I just can't imagine not living here - it's such a wonderful house and we have three beautiful, quiet, tree-filled acres. Oh well, enough. Here's some cards I got done this week. The first is for the CPS sketch this week. Have almost but not quite used all my new Paperwork's Christmas stamps. Aren't they cute! This is just about the last of my Graphic 45 Christmas paper but it was one of the best Christmas paper lines I've come across in a long time.

Next I decided believe it or not I have FINISHED _ DONE _ COMPLETED all my Christmas cards. I have well over 50 and will need them all for work and family. So I've moved on. I got some adorable images from Mo's Digital the other day - I've been wanting to get some of theirs for a long time and finally just ordered. AND will be doing that more often. They are adorable. For this card I used the sketch at Taylored Expressions this week. I used some of the Echo Park papers for this.
Thanks for stopping by - hope everyone has a wonderful Thanksgiving - so much to give thanks for!

Sunday cards!

Well alot of people wouldn't think so but from someone who is like me and has had kids around since I was 21 and a constant houseful of people a day or two ALONE is a special treat, even an evening alone is wonderful. DH went to Arlington this weekend and even though Jason was here he was with his friend's for the most part and not here except to sleep. I went to get my hair done Saturday, came home and fixed it and then went into town with a good book and went to my favorite place for lunch (Alamo Cafe). Had some chips and salsa and the best tortilla soup in town and just sat. Then stopped by Penneys for a little self-treat! Then home to scrap my little heart out. Here's what I have to show for it.
First of all I did this page for the color challenge over at Color Combos. This was a challenge - bold, loud colors but once I got started it was fun. The little cutie is my great-niece, Katy-bug (as she calls herself!).

The next card I did for the sketch over at Card Patterns this week. I also did it for the challenge at Lily of the Valley. This cute little image is from Lily of the Valley - love this one. You can see I was still into the color combo from the first layout here.

The next card is for the sketch over at Sketch Saturday. I used one of the new images that Faith at Designed 2 Delight is coming out with for this one.

This next card is the image over at Designed 2 Delight this week that Faith is giving out. Isn't he cute.

Saturday's Design Team Cards

WOW Saturday already! This week has gone pretty quick - had surgery on Monday - FINALLY - YEAH!!!! So glad to have that over with. Just getting my feet back under me - every day is getting better - hasn't been too awful - definitely better than my back surgery last year. Have got some cards for you today. First off the sketch over at The Sweet Stop this week has a twist - to finish off the inside as well. For this I used some Graphic 45 papers.

The next card is for Unscripted Sketches this week. The sketch looked a harder to work with just looking at it but ended up being great! I used some Echo Park on this one together with one of my new Lily of the Valley stamps and a sentiment stamp from Unity Stamp Company.

Then Faith over at Designed 2 Delight has just being going wild with creativity lately and has so many new images to play with. I LOVEd this little dinosaur and decided to use it twice. I have lots of little guys who will be having birthdays soon so will be perfect for them. The image is available in the Designed 2 Delight store already. The cardinal is coming out too. Let's see papers on the first card are from Three Bugs in a Rug, the second from SEI, and the cardinal from Graphic 45.

How about some mid-week??

Got a few things done this week. Starting to feel better - not quite as sore. I heal well so imagine I'll be up to par in no time. Surgery took much longer than I think they thought - about 4 hours - more repair than estimated but DONE! Have never been so glad to have anything over with. Popped right up afterwards and was so ready to get off that uncomfortable stretcher and get home to my own bed!
For now I got to do the sketch over at Get Sketchy this week. Sometimes a sketch will just trigger Webster's Pages to me and this one did - or maybe it was the Unity stamp that started it but here's mine for the sketch this week.

Then I did this page for the color inspiration over at Color Combo Galore this week. Lot's of embossing on the Core'dinations cardstock for this one. The little cutie is my great-niece, Hailey, at the pumpkin patch this year. The pumpkin image is from Designed 2 Delight and don't you love my new Martha Stewart punch?

Sunday Sharing

Counting down to getting my surgery done tomorrow - FINALLY! Seems like it's taken forever to get here and I've had to jump through so many hoops to make it happen. But don't expect to be done long at all. Today I have several cards and a layout to share. I've spend the morning scrubbing (on hands and knees with a scrub brush) the 18" tiled in our kitchen. BOY do they need it. My dh mops but doesn't do the down and dirty and it just needed the old fashioned cleaning this time. My hand is killing me from holding the scrubber brush.
Ok first of all I have my card for the CPS sketch this week. For this one I used some of the new Core'dinations Graphic 45 cardstock together with some Graphic 45 papers. The stamp is a new one I got from Paper Works Co.

Next card is my card for Sketch Saturday - was perfect for this little image from Faith over at Designed 2 Delight. Papers are from Echo Park.

The next two cards are for the sketch over at Card Patterns this week. Couldn't decide which way I wanted to go so did both. The first card is using some of Core'dinations new cardstock called their Core Couture. Love the glitter! The stamps are from Unity Stamp Company and the punched edges are with my new Martha Stewart Punch. The second card used a stamp from Unity Stamp Company and some Sassafras Lass papers.

Then finally although late I did the color challenge over at Color Combo. This is my daughter, Brandy, during a family gathering, enjoying the fun of being with her cousins and nephews and just having a good belly laugh with them. Cardstock is from Core'dinations - love this stuff!
